A short note on placeholder content
Placeholder content has a long history, from "lorem ipsum" to made-up company names like Brightleaf Co. Its job isn't to be true — its job is to be structurally representative, so that layouts, imports, and templates can be tested without waiting for real copy.
This short post is the shortest page on the site, included on purpose. Not every page in a real website is long, and a good import test should handle short pages just as gracefully as long ones.
That's it. Thanks for reading a post that was never really about anything.
